The aim of our workshop is to give students and young school age people from Westminster an understanding of what tour guiding is and how to become a modern and engaging tour guide.
City Lions is an enrichment programme for 13-18-year old’s who live or go to school in Westminster. The programme aims to broaden their horizons by exposing young people to the amazing opportunities in the cultural and creative sectors whilst boosting their transferable skills and confidence.
Young people in Westminster (aged 11 -18 years old) have been invited to put their questions to the experts and work on developing their creative skills during our workshop: ‘Explore storytelling and being a tour guide with Wonders of London‘ .
We will be hosting the workshop at 11am on Thursday 9th of July to give the students an insight into the creative sectors, as part of the City Lions Digital Festival (6-10 July 2020).
Westminster City Council’s City Lions plans to deliver the Digital Festival for the first time this year. Working with the business community the aim of the festival is to support young people to raise aspiration, develop an appetite for success, broaden their horizons and explore the creative industries. This year’s programme includes talks from high-profile creatives and online masterclasses and workshops to inspire young people.
