Everyone will suggest that you go under Westminster Bridge on the south side of the river where you can definitely take a wonderful picture!

But there are a couple of key things that everyone seems to forget to tell you!
First of all, unless you go early in the morning or late in the evening, there will be a lot of people and getting a decent picture won’t be easy. So, it’s best to plan the moment of your shot carefully.
But the most important thing you need to know is that there is a nauseous smell down here because unfortunately this underpass is used as a urinal. I’m not kidding, and it’s really disgusting.
So, if you want an original and distraction-free photo, listen to my advice. First, go to the courtyard of St Thomas’ Hospital and get creative with snaps. Here you will certainly find interesting angles for your photos.

Next, head over Westminster Bridge, don’t go under (remember the smell!). Also from here you can get something original. Experiment with different angles and perspectives to make your photo unique.
Don’t forget to visit the Boudicca Statue where you will be able to capture a really beautiful picture.
And also go to Parliament Square and take some original photos playing with the statues and the perspective. It will be fun and you will have unique results.

Finally, go in front of Westminster Abbey. From here you will be able to take some fantastic photos!
And how about you, do you know of other points from which to take a beautiful and original photo with Big Ben? Share your tips in the comments!
Ah, before I forget, yes I know the tower is called Elizabeth Tower!
