This two hour private walking tour begins next to the Southbank Centre and ends at the famous London Bridge and it offers you an opportunity to see some of the most famous land marks on the stretch of river jealously protected from advertising by the queen. For hundreds of years, dating back to before Shakespeare, this has been the happening place in London. This guided tour offered by Wonders of London has plenty of wondrous places to take photos of London and with iconic festivities going on year round there is always a surprise.
This sightseeing tour is a darker history of the area covering bear fights, the birth of theatre as we know it, sex, prostitution, murder and suicide.
Sites include London Eye, Southbank Centre, National Theatre, Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge, Southwark Cathedral and London Bridge.
From here you can continue your exploration by visiting Borough Market for some world famous food or connecting to the rest of London via public transport.

Our City of Sins private walking tour will follow this route:
Great walking tour along Southbank – which was once home to London’s thriving illicit sex trade … we learned that on the tour!
Vincent our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and courteous. He’d always wait until the there were no children within earshot before revealing his filthiest stories on London’s sordid history … a history we relished (the tour is 18+).
Went with my cousin after enjoying Vincent’s Witches Tour which was equally as good!
“London City of Sin”was my first walk with Wonders of London about a week ago. It is an extremely captivating tour for anyone who is interested in the history of London and enjoys a stroll in the city. Shocking historical facts about life in London in the 17th century leaves you marvelling at this city of sin and glory. Stories about the great fire, the plague, women who built bridges after the war, prostitution, theatre, suicide, bear fights and many more unfolded with great knowledge and style during a lovely 2 hours evening walk led by Vincent, our guide. Truly memorable. Thank you.
