When you try a new food and it’s delicious it makes you wonder – where is it from? On this tour all culinary wonders are from London, but it doesn’t always mean English. For centuries London welcomed immigrants and in return they brought their home food and shared with others. East London became home to those who didn’t have a lot of money, but plenty of family recipes. Sometimes they had to be altered to suit local supplies and palates which created new dishes that now seem quintessentially English.
We will take you through the streets of Shoreditch to share some of our favourite spots. You will discover something completely new or be surprised by the food you thought you knew or just simply indulge in chocolate or vinegar – each to their own taste.
