Director Maria Balshaw said that London museums and galleries are coordinating a series of staggered reopenings from mid-July until the end of August.
UK national museums are facing their biggest post-war challenge. Maria Balshaw, the director of the Tate, spoke to The Art Newspaper about the reopenings of its galleries.
She said: “We are planning reopening for early August. But if there is an increase in coronavirus infection levels, then we would necessarily have to change this.”
