In ‘Forest for Change’ visitors will be taken through a journey on which they discover the United Nations’ Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
This summer a forest of 400 trees will be taking over the wonderful courtyard of Somerset House for the 2021 edition of London Design Biennale.
The installation has been designed by Es Devlin, Forest for Change designer and Artistic Director of the Biennale, wh was told that 250 years ago trees had been forbidden from the courtyard at Somerset House when the building was originally conceived.
The installation will be part of a programme highlighting the role of design in addressing global challenges and crises and will take place in June.
