For the first time ever, this year from July to September Buckingham Palace will welcome visitors to the garden for picnics.
After the cancellation of Buckingham Palace’s traditional summer opening for the second year because of pandemic restrictions, now self-guided tours of the gardens will be on offer from July to September.
For the first time, the paying public will be able to picnic and explore the gardens at the palace this summer.
Picnics will be allowed on one of the sweeping lawns, while the rose garden, summer house and wildflower meadow can be viewed through guided tours.
