As part of English Heritage’s scheme following a public campaign, Diana will be among six women to be honoured with a London Blue Plaque.
Princess of Wales Diana will be honored with a blue plaque outside the flat in Coleherne Court (Kensington) where she lived with friends between 1979 and 1981 before marrying Prince Charles.
English Heritage will erect the plaque this year, what would have been her 60th birthday year.
Blue plaques commemorate places where historically significant people lived or worked and almost 1,000 official plaques are displayed around London.
