In a decision that came perhaps a little late, the government is now requiring passengers to test negative for COVID-19 before traveling to England.
The move by the UK government is to help protect against new strains of coronavirus circulating internationally.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said that from next week, to help protect against the new strains of coronavirus, inbound passengers arriving by boat, plane or train will have to take a test up to 72 hours before departing the country they are in.
