Studio RHE has won planning approval for the first office building with an urban forest rooftop in London.

The Roots in the Sky project will redevelop the 1960s former Blackfriars Crown Court into just under 36,000m2 of office, commercial and community space.

Roots in The Sky is set to be one of the largest urban roof gardens in Europe, making a significant contribution to London’s ambitious targets for greening, biodiversity and sustainability.
