We are right below Waterloo Station, just a stone’s throw away from the London Eye, in the Leake Street Arches.

This 300-metre tunnel is the city’s largest legal graffiti wall and has been a prominent fixture in London’s street art scene since 2008.
Before 2008, this space was simply an ordinary tunnel like many others.
Everything changed when Banksy organized a street art festival called Cans Festival right here on May 3rd and 4th, 2008.
Banksy invited the most famous and talented names in the international street art scene to come down and create artwork in the tunnel.

Since that weekend, Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel has become a symbol of London’s street art scene, offering artists the opportunity to work peacefully and legally.
Make sure not to miss the Leake Street Arches on your next visit, and remember that you will always find brand new graffiti each time!
Furthermore, inside these eight former railway arches beneath Waterloo Station, you will find restaurants, bars, and entertainment spaces, perfect for an unforgettable stroll!
