Glastonbury Festival 2021 officially cancelled due to Covid pandemic

The organisers said ‘In spite of our efforts to move heaven and Earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the festival happen this year’.

Glastonbury Festival Cancelled

With a statement posted on Twitter, Glastonbury Festival’s organisers said that the event has been cancelled for 2021.

Father and daughter team Michael and Emily Eavis said: “With great regret, we must announce that this year’s Glastonbury Festival will not take place, and that this will be another enforced fallow year for us. Tickets for this year will roll over to next year.”

Fans who got tickets in 2019 will have their places rolled over to 2022.
