A new Eurostar project will connect the English capital with other continental cities in Spain, Portugal and Italy on high-speed trains.
At the beginning of February, UK Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said that ministers are helping Eurostar bosses to launch new services which could take passengers on high-speed trains to Barcelona, Lisbon and Rome.
These services will be possible because of a new merger with high-speed rail firm Thalys, which is expected to be completed in 2021.
It is unclear when the new routes will launch, but stay tuned for more news!
