After more than 50 years Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre shut down on September 24.
The shopping centre was due to close in July but the date was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Now the centre will be demolished and replaced with 1,000 new homes, only 116 of which will be social housing.
