In England and Scotland you are allowed to meet socially in groups of up to six, but this doesn’t mean you can’t join our tours.
The limit of six people from multiple households will apply to social gatherings from Monday 14 September.
Pubs, restaurants and shops will remain open, but people can only attend in groups of up to six and all venues should also allow for social distancing between groups.
Walking tours companies are part of The Visitor Economy (click here to find out more, under the section titled ‘What do we mean by the visitor economy’). The link is to government guidance for people who work in hotels and guest accommodation, indoor and outdoor attractions, and business events and consumer shows.
The new rules/updates which apply to us can be found clicking here and the two main changes are:
- Take part in NHS Test and Trace
- From 14 September, let customers know that by law they can only visit in groups of up to 6 people (unless they are visiting as a household or support bubble which is larger than 6).
This means our tours will go ahead as normal with a total groups of max 20 people (19 + the guide), you will be able to book and join with a group of up to 6 people and social distancing will be maintained at all time between the different ‘groups’ during the tour.
So don’t worry, book our tours now clicking here!
