Coronavirus: free face masks at busy tube and bus stations

TfL is to hand out free face masks at busy tube and bus stations as part of a trial.

Volunteers from TfL and the Greater London Authority are already distributing face masks.

TfL said that more than a million of people will be given a free face mask at tube and bus stations that had the highest number of customers during lockdown.

Wearing face masks will be mandatory on public transport in England from 15 June.
