Coronavirus (COVID-19) Health and Safety

Our walking tours will now be operating with the “We’re Good To Go” certificate, the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Good To Go England

We have created the Covid-19 Guidance for our guides and our customers, which is based on making sure social distancing is maintaned at all times and it will guarantee that both guests and tour guides will have the maximum comfort and safety throughout the tour:

  • All indoor meeting points of all our tours have changed to make sure they are now outdoor meeting points to comply with health and safety government guidelines.
  • We have adjusted the itinerary of our tours (where necessary) to make sure that government-recommended social distancing can be maintained at all times between guides and clients.
  • Guides must declare if they have the symptoms of Coronavirus and if so must not undertake a tour.
  • Guides will avoid shaking hands or any other physical contact with clients.
  • Guides will apply rigorous hygiene practices, including thoroughly cleaning of all equipment and use of a personal hand sanitiser, making sure to sanitise hands at the beginning of the tour and before receiving cash and/or distributing review cards. Our guides will now have a card machine reader to be able to get tips by card and avoid any physical contact.
  • Guides will offer to participants hand sanitiser if anybody wants to use it.
  • In accordance with government regulations, all our walking tours will now run with groups of max 20 people including the guide, ensuring social distancing can be maintained at all time. By law customers can only join the tour in groups of up to 6 people.
  • If a guest has symtomps of Coronavirus he/she needs to declare them and not take part in the tour.
  • If a guest is visibly ill, sweating, coughing, etc. the guide will ask this guest to leave the tour for guide and customer safety.

If you have any further questions please contact us at info@wondersoflondon.com. Our team will aim to get back to you with a full response as soon as possible.
