British Museum will reopen to visitors on Thursday 27 of August!

The British Museum is finally reopening on Thursday 27th of August with a number of measures and changes to help keep everyone safe.

To visit the museum you will need to book a free timed ticket in advance, as there will be reduced numbers to ensure visitors can maintain social distancing.

There will be a new easy-to-follow one-way route around the ground floor galleries which will allow visitors to experience amazing objects from ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and Assyria, to then move to Africa, Mexico, North America and the Enlightenment gallery.
