A statue of Harry Potter will be added to Leicester Square ‘Scenes in the Square’

Harry Potter playing Quidditch is going to be the newest statue to join ‘Scenes in the Square’, a film sculpture trail in Leicester Square.

The statue, sculpted in bronze, will depict Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter in the scene where he first takes flight playing quidditch.

The statue will be placed at the end of September on the north terrace, exactly where the movie premiered back in 2001.
