A wonderful exhibition of life-sized bronze lions has opened next to Waterloo station to raise awareness to protect wild lions.

Born Free Forever is a moving and powerful exhibition of 25 life-sized lions cast in bronze by artists Gillie and Marc, which starts in London and tours the UK, before concluding in Edinburgh this autumn.
Born Free Forever is a celebration of Born Free’s heritage, and tells the stories of many of the lions the charity have helped over the years. The centrepiece of the exhibition features Elsa the lioness, the original inspiration and iconic symbol of hope for the charity, standing on top of a vintage 4×4 surrounded by lions and cubs. Each of the lions represents a real life lion and highlights some of the challenges facing lions today.
You can visit the lions for free at Waterloo Millennium Green.
